Ram Truck is warming up truck and van customers to the idea of opting for all-electric powertrains with the launch of its Ram Revolution marketing campaign.

The exclusive insider program features a new website, ramrevolution.com, to help customers get a better sense for what’s coming—like the all-electric Ram 1500 in 2024—as well as providing a platform to sound off on what they’re looking for in an electric truck and van as these zero-emission vehicles enter a competitive market long dominated by internal combustion.

Ram all-electric vanRam“Launched as a stand-alone truck brand in 2009, Ram revolutionized the pickup truck segment once, and is laser-focused on doing so again with the best electric trucks on the market,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand CEO. “Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can a gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns – ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.”

Customer feedback has already been put to work to help design a concept vehicle that will help steer the design of the upcoming Ram 1500 BEV.

With the Ram EV Revolution, the brand is debuting its Ram Real Talk Tour, a series of year-long conversations with consumers at various events to better understand what the next generation of Ram trucks and vans must do to meet their needs.

“The Ram brand’s promise is grounded in our unique ‘Built to Serve’ philosophy, and our new Ram Revolution campaign takes this pledge even further,” Koval added.  “At Ram we are built to serve our customers, understanding and delivering exactly what they need and want in a Ram.  Our next-gen Ram solutions will be powerful and capable trucks that tow, haul, complete the job and always go the distance.

Ram is aiming to roll out EVs in the majority of its segments by 2025 with a full line-up of EVs coming for all of its segments no later than 2030.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell & BEV Survey
The following survey was sent as a link in an email cover message in February 2023 to the newsletter lists for Overdrive and CCJ. After approximately two weeks, a total of 176 owner-operators under their own authority, 113 owner-operators leased or assigned to a carrier and 82 fleet executives and 36 fleet employees from fleets with 10 or more power units had completed and submitted the questionnaire for a total of 407 qualified responses. Cross-tabulations based on respondent type are provided for each question when applicable.
