The 15th annual Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo is just around the corner, beginning on April 28 and lasting until May 1, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

The show has grown every year since its inception in 2011. For 2025, nearly 300 fleet executives and industry innovators and other specialists will present case studies, strategies, and a range of insights into what many see as commercial trucking's greatest challenges, opportunities, and practical solutions to a rapidly changing industry.

With a new White House administration, there are certainly more questions than answers right now, specifically regarding ongoing ZEV adaption, optimizing fleet operations, and ongoing changes to environmental laws and regulations.

“Fleets are facing an unprecedented amount of change, with an ever-expanding set of technologies and fuels to choose from, increased vehicle complexity, uncertain operating costs, evolving regulations, and growing customer demand for lower cost and cleaner solutions,” said Erik Neandross, president of Clean Transportation Solutions at TRC, the producers of ACT Expo. “ACT Expo 2025 will provide fleet operators with the knowledge, strategies, and practical tools they need to stay competitive, adapt to industry shifts, and gain a clear understanding of which technologies are delivering real-world results.”

Show organizers have just released the most up-to-date list of keynote speakers:

  • Jennifer Rumsey, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Cummins, Inc.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell & BEV Survey
The following survey was sent as a link in an email cover message in February 2023 to the newsletter lists for Overdrive and CCJ. After approximately two weeks, a total of 176 owner-operators under their own authority, 113 owner-operators leased or assigned to a carrier and 82 fleet executives and 36 fleet employees from fleets with 10 or more power units had completed and submitted the questionnaire for a total of 407 qualified responses. Cross-tabulations based on respondent type are provided for each question when applicable.
