Jordanne Waldschmidt is the chief editor of Equipment World, which delivers the latest product news, technology trends and in-depth analysis of the issues impacting the construction industry.

With over a decade of experience in public relations, communications, content marketing and social media within the construction and manufacturing sectors, Waldschmidt brings a deep understanding of the contractor, OEM and dealer audiences.

Prior to joining Equipment World, Waldschmidt served as the content marketing manager for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, where she led content development and social media strategy for some of the industry’s largest trade shows, including ConExpo-Con/Agg, The Utility Expo and World of Asphalt.  

Waldschmidt has earned numerous awards for her forward-looking approach to audience engagement and social media in the construction industry, including the 2020 Content Marketing Institute Award for Best Use of Influencer Marketing and the 2024 Jesse H. Neal Award for Best Series.  

She holds a bachelor's degree in strategic communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with certificates in social media management and digital art and culture.
