Just because the U.S. still lacks a nationwide charging infrastructure that specifically meets the needs of commercial EVs doesn't mean fleets and other companies can't get onboard with battery-electrics (BEVs) right now.

Enter the L-Charge off-grid EV charging system.

L-Charge has just announced that this extremely useful system is now available for purchase through Sourcewell's newly authorized reseller, INF Associates.

The Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program is obviously no stranger to this industry, assisting over 50,000 public sector agencies to date with local dealer access to a nationwide supply of major equipment and other supplies.

"Having Sourcewell as a procurement vehicle gives organizations an entirely new level of access to our Charging-as-a-Service and Power-as-a-Service models," said Dmitry Lashin, CEO of L-Charge. "Public fleets can now deploy ultra-fast charging, or power their existing EVSE  within days, with no CAPEX and full operational flexibility, all through a procurement platform they already trust."

L-Charge's mobile charging units have already been certified as CARB- and EPA-compliant. Equally important, they provide fleets, municipalities, and EV charging developers the freedom of charging just about anywhere without having to worry about (non-existent) grid access.

Transit fleets, last-mile operators, school buses, logistics providers, and even taxis all benefit from these natural gas-powered chargers.

"Our partnership with L-Charge enables us to offer clients a seamless transition to electrification without compromising performance," said Steve Peifer, VP of sales at INF Associates. "By combining our expertise with L-Charge’s ultra-fast charging technology, we’re helping fleets operate more efficiently and sustainably."

Hydrogen Fuel Cell & BEV Survey
The following survey was sent as a link in an email cover message in February 2023 to the newsletter lists for Overdrive and CCJ. After approximately two weeks, a total of 176 owner-operators under their own authority, 113 owner-operators leased or assigned to a carrier and 82 fleet executives and 36 fleet employees from fleets with 10 or more power units had completed and submitted the questionnaire for a total of 407 qualified responses. Cross-tabulations based on respondent type are provided for each question when applicable.
