Idealease will host a commercial electric truck experiential event, Demo Day, as the company takes delivery of its first new electric motor vehicle truck, the International eMV.
“We are excited to be among the first to showcase the inaugural electric truck offering from industry leader International,” says Lance Bertram, senior vice president, Sales, Marketing & Distribution. “As the demand for electric trucks grows, we are proud to partner with International to be on the forefront of meeting that demand with a vehicle that sets the standard for innovation.”
Demo Day will be hosted by Idealease of Atlanta from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 2, at Governors Gun Club, in Kennesaw, Ga.
Idealease says experts and executives from Idealease, International, and Idealease of Atlanta will be on hand to welcome everyone and share their knowledge of, and experience with the new International eMV. Representatives will share details on the concept, International’s dealer certification process, EV charging solutions that meet specific application needs, and how the customer, driver, and technician will be supported before and after the trucks hit the road.
Following the welcome, introductory presentation, and question and answer session, guests will be invited to participate in the Ride & Drive portion of the event. First, guests will ride along with an EV expert who will explain the unique features and nuances of the eMV. Next, it will be the guest’s turn to get behind the wheel of the ground-breaking International truck with the expert riding alongside them as they put the vehicle through its paces, Idealease says.
“We are very proud to have the opportunity to host this event for people in the commercial transportation industry who are curious about electric vehicles” says Mario Delgado, president of Idealease of Atlanta. “We are eager to aid customers in the process of purchasing and deploying this new technology in their fleets and look forward to educating them more about electric vehicles and the process Idealease and International have developed to make their integration as seamless as possible.”
