AB E-mobility, an EV charging solutions provider, has launched the Om series, a heavy duty scalable charging system designed for the nonstop duty cycles of transit depots, shipping hubs and busy freight corridors. What sets the X-series apart is its end to end liquid cooling, which runs from the power cabinet all the way to the charging cable.

This technology allows the system to operate continuously at megawatt levels while maintaining a 98% efficiency rate, meaning almost no energy is wasted as heat.

What you see here, these are liquid cooling. So these are liquid cooled power modules. So you just put your hand on there and you feel how cool these are. These are Ip68 rated. Now what does that mean. That means this is completely enclosed. So all the circuits all the boards everything is enclosed. So you could basically open this up again in 15 years and it would look exactly the same.

Green Lane, a public charging developer and operator, used this year's show to announce its first major expansion outside of California. The company, a joint venture between Daimler Truck North America, Next ERA Energy Resources and Blackrock, is moving into the Texas Triangle, so.

Greenland will be expanding locations in Dallas and Houston and extending the network along the I 45. This is one of those high volume freight corridors in the country.

This infrastructure expansion is set to support one of Greenland's first customers. Hendrickson, a staple in the commercial vehicle industry, broke into a new product category at the 2026 Act Expo with the debut of electrics marking the company's first ever drive axle in its first foray into electric axles.

Co engineer with drive. This integrated powertrain is purpose built for class six and seven vehicles, such as school busses and medium duty delivery trucks. The system combines the motor inverter and gearbox into the axle assembly, reducing overall vehicle weight by up to 357 pounds. The system is capable of delivering up to 94% system level efficiency, which Hendrickson claims can increase a vehicle operating range by as much as 40%.

Ultimately, electrics allows manufacturers to either extend their current range or reduce the number of heavy batteries required, helping fleets lower their total cost of ownership. Key features that differentiate Horizons Truck include a traditional cabin with a left side driving position, and dual CC one charge ports that can be used simultaneously. Horizon also claims the truck delivers more torque than its Tesla competitor. This model of Horizons Class eight semi uses a 400 kilowatt battery pack, offering up to 350 miles of fully loaded range.

However, horizon plans to incorporate solid state batteries in the near future, which could either increase range or significantly reduce the vehicle's weight.

Power Tech Labs unveil the industry's first smart, high capacity, high pressure hydrogen tube trailer at the 2026 Act Expo. Designed to act as a mobile hydrogen pipeline, the trailer can transport 1050kg of gaseous hydrogen at 517 bar, specs that make it the highest capacity trailer available in its class.

Because a hydrogen is stored at such high pressure, it can refuel 350 bar vehicles directly without the need for expensive on site compression by eliminating that infrastructure. Ultimately, Power Tech aims to use this increased payload to lower the delivered cost of hydrogen per kilogram.

Toyota motor North America has announced a definitive agreement with High Road Energy in Austin, Texas based trucking as a service provider to provide hydrogen fueling services to 40 of their trucks operating in Southern California. This partnership effectively pairs Toyota with the assets of a former industry pioneer. Last August, High Road Energy acquired over 100 fuel cell semi trucks from the Nikola motors.

Bankruptcy. But until now, the major hurdle for those trucks has been reliable access to hydrogen by teaming up with Toyota. High road is bridging that gap. Toyota will provide the necessary hydrogen fuel, while High Road acts as a service provider, supplying the vehicles, maintenance and software to run 40 high road branded semis across the region. What makes this move particularly significant is the potential for bulk hydrogen pricing, with diesel prices recently spiking towards $8 a gallon.

It's the MP 13 and for Volvo, the D13. Both engines deliver a massive 80% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions to meet the EPA's 2027 requirements. All while maintaining or even improving fuel efficiency. Depending on the model.

We were able to get up to 3% of fuel economy improvement efficiency coming to the engine. This is going to be our strongest and powerful 13 liter that we have built.

That efficiency jump reaches 6% in the all new Mac Keystone compared to its predecessor. The pinnacle Over at Volvo, the all new Val maintains its massive 10% efficiency gain, while the new varices a 4% boost on top of the 7.5% already achieved by the redesigned model.

This is the most powerful and most reliable and most fuel efficient 13 liter engine that we have in the industry today. It comes in 13 different ratings, and it goes up to 540 horsepower, with about 1950ft pounds of torque. Really unique is the engine brake goes up to 630 breaking horsepower. That is by far the strongest engine break that we have in the industry.

What Eddie, a trucking as a service provider, announced a record order 370 Tesla Semi Class eight trucks, the largest single deployment of heavy duty electric trucks in California.

They may not even have routes to to run those trucks on. So we come in and say, okay, we'll offer you truck as a service, which is all bundled. So we really like to do a lot of handling, making sure that that customer is successful.
