Since launching a pilot in Montreal in 2023, the company has steadily expanded a mixed electric fleet that now spans vans, yard tractors, and highway-capable trucks. Central to that rollout are Volvo VNR Electric units, which are assigned to short-haul and regional routes where fixed, repeatable schedules align well with battery-electric capabilities. Their range and design make them a practical option for urban distribution, allowing the company to integrate zero-emission transport into daily operations without disrupting service levels.
Configured with six batteries, the trucks can travel up to 275 miles (440 kilometers) per charge. In regular use, they complete multiple daily runs between distribution hubs and customer delivery points.

To support this latest fleet expansion, Coke Canada has invested in new charging infrastructure in both eastern and western Canada. The company installed a 180 kW Heliox Flex Charger in Quebec City equipped with three dispensers, along with two additional 180 kW units in Vancouver that together provide six dispensers, ensuring reliable, high-capacity charging for its growing electric fleet.
